Keväällä 2025 sain tehdä kustomoidun mikrofonitelineen musiikkiartisti Sexmanelle. Artistin toiveena oli saada mikkiteline, jossa on kotka. Tämä oli tähän astisista projekteistani kunnianhimoisin, työläin ja veistoksillin. Ensimmäistä kertaa ikinä veistin tämänkaltaista kokonaisuutta, ja tässä tapauksessa kotkan sulka kerrallaan, joten kyseessä oli muotoilullisesti ja taiteellisesti haastava projekti. Tämän työn aikana korostui visuaalisuuden ja käytännöllisyyden symbioosi, koska suuria ja näyttäviä elementtejä oli paljon, jolloin kokonaisuuden tuli olla entistä toimivampi ja käyttäjäystävällisempi. Konseptin saattaminen siihen vaiheeseen, että teline on myös helposti kuljetettavissa ja toimii niin lavalla kuin sen ulkopuolellakin, vaati paljon suunnittelutyötä. Sexmanen mikkiteline toimitettiin 3.5.2025 Olvi-Areenalle artistin Sanansaattaja-kiertueen viimeiselle keikalle. Tämä mikrofoniteline oli samalla opinnäytetyöni aihe. In the spring of 2025, I had the opportunity to design and build a custom microphone stand for the music artist Sexmane. The artist’s wish was to have a stand featuring an eagle. This became the most ambitious, demanding, and sculptural project I have undertaken so far. For the first time, I sculpted a piece of this scale – in this case feather by feather – which made the project both a design and artistic challenge. Throughout the process, the symbiosis between visual impact and practicality was essential, as the large and striking elements required the stand to be not only impressive but also highly functional and user-friendly. Bringing the concept to the point where the stand was easy to transport and could work seamlessly both on stage and off demanded extensive designing. The finished stand was delivered on May 3, 2025, to the Olvi Arena for the final concert of Sexmane’s Sanansaattaja tour. Syksyllä 2024 toteutin toisen custom-projektin musiikkiartistille. Työskentelyn aikana huomasin, että minulla on kyky nähdä asiakas ja hänen visionsa. Pystyn tulkitsemaan asiakkaan mielenmaisemaa siten, että onnistun tekemään muotoilullisesti oikeita ratkaisuja, jotka vastaavat asiakkaan odotuksia. Projekti vahvisti itseluottamustani muotoilijana ja todisti taas kerran sen, kuinka merkittävässä roolissa vahvat sosiaaliset taitoni voivat onnistuneessa asiakasyhteistyössä olla. Tämän projektin lopputulos on herättänyt runsaasti ihailua, ja ennen kaikkea asiakas on ollut äärimmäisen tyytyväinen uuteen mikkiständiinsä. Toimitin mikkiständin Mirellalle tammikuussa Tavastialle, juuri ennen albumikiertueen alkua.
In the fall of 2024, I completed my second custom project for a music artist. During the process, I realized that I have the ability to understand the client and their vision. I can interpret the client’s mindset in a way that allows me to make design decisions that align with their expectations. The project boosted my self-confidence as a designer and once again demonstrated how crucial my strong social skills are in successful client collaboration. The result of this project has garnered a lot of admiration, and most importantly, the client has been extremely satisfied with their new microphone stand. I delivered the stand to Mirella in January at Tavastia, just before the start of her album tour.

Syksyllä 2023 sain mahdollisuuden haastaa itseäni erittäin mielenkiintoisen ja hauskan projektin parissa. Musiikkiartisi Lauri Haav tilasi minulta brändinsä mukaisen custom-mikkitelineen. Tuotteen suunnittelu tapahtui osallistavia suunnittelumenetelmiä hyödyntäen yhdessä asiakkaan kanssa. Alusta loppuun yhteydenpito ja kommunikaatio asiakkaan kanssa oli runsasta. Lopullisessa tuotteessa asiakkaani vahva visio yhdistyy minun muotoiluuni. Artisti oli lopulliseen tuotteeseen todella tyytyväinen. YouTubessa on nähtävissä työvaiheita kuvaava projektivideo. In the fall of 2023, I got to challenge myself with a very interesting and fun project. Music artist Lauri Haav ordered a custom mic stand from me. The design process was participatory and there was a lot of communication between me and the customer throughout the entire project. In the finished product you can see my client’s strong vision combined with my design. The customer was very pleased with the final product. SATURN
Saturn-kaiuttimet voittivat kunniamaininnan Young Finnish Design:n ’New materials, New designs’ VOL 2 -kilpailussa keväällä 2023. Design on saanut inspiraationsa avaruuden kappaleista.
SATURN loudspeakers won an honorable mention in Young Finnish Design’s ’New materials, New designs’ VOL 2 competition in spring 2023. The design was inspired by astronomical objects.
NUBOT-robottiapuri | 2024
NuBot
Keväällä 2024 suunnittelimme yhdessä opiskelijakollegoideni Ilona Frimanin ja Antti Hakkaraisen kanssa robottiapurin hoitohenkilökunnalle sairaalaympäristöön. NuBotin päätavoitteena on säästää hoitajien arvokasta aikaa kuljettamalla hoitotarvikkeita haluttuun kohteeseen. Näin hoitajan ei tarvitse poistua potilaan luota kesken hoitotoimenpiteen, mikä edistää potilasturvallisuutta sekä säästää aikaa ja rahaa
Designed together with my fellow students Ilona Friman and Antti Hakkarainen, NuBot is a utility robot for nurses in the hospital environment. Its main goal is to save nurses’ valuable time by transporting basic care supplies to a desired location when needed. Thus nurses don’t need to leave their spot when working closely with patients which directly contributes to patient safety and saves time and money.

NOKI
NOKI-ulkotulisija lämmittää muotoilullaan ja ominaisuuksillaan. NOKI on suunniteltu yhdessä opiskelijakollegani Elmeri Lehtomäen kanssa. NOKI oli kilpailuehdotuksemme vuoden 2024 Plootu Fennica -kilpailuun. NOKI voidaan valmistaa lähes kokonaan Suomessa ja sen kotimaisuusaste on yli 90%.
NOKI outdoor fireplace keeps you warm with its design and features. NOKI was designed together with my fellow student Elmeri Lehtomäki. NOKI was our competition entry for the 2024 Plootu Fennica competition. NOKI can be manufactured almost entirely in Finland and its domesticity rate is over 90%.
ORIGO-valaisin | 2023
ORIGO
Origo on lyhdyn tapainen kannettava valaisin lapsille ja lapsenmielisille. Sen muotoilu viestii leikkisyyttä ja keveyttä, unohtamatta yhteyttä luontoon ja eläinkuntaan. Kyseinen projekti oli kilpailuehdotukseni Luminordin syksyllä 2023 järjestämään valaisinkilpailuun.
Origo is a portable lamp for children and childlikes. Its design conveys playfulness and lightness, without forgetting the connection to nature and the animal kingdom. The project in question was my competition entry for the lighting competition organized by Luminord in the fall of 2023.

ILO
ILO on muotoiluprojekti, jonka tein yhdessä opiskelijakollegani Juuli Aaltosen kanssa keväällä 2023. Osallistuimme työllämme Huld Design Award 2023 -kilpailuun. ILO on interaktiivinen opasrobotti suuriin sairaaloihin.
ILO is a design project I did together with my fellow student Juuli Aaltonen in the spring of 2023. With our work, we participated in the Huld Design Award 2023 competition. ILO is an interactive robot guide for large hospitals.
SCOTT Go-Getter | 2023

Scott Go-Getter oli alkuvuoden 2023 ajoneuvomuotoilu-kurssin projektityöni. Projektiin sisältyi myös käyttäjätutkimusta kuten käyttäjäprofilointia ja haastattelu.
Scott Go-Getter was my work for a 2023 vehicle design course. The project also included user research such as user profiling and an interview.
BETULA-lattiavalaisin | 2022
BETULA
Betula oli kilpailuehdotukseni Innoluxin vuonna 2022 järjestämään valaisinkilpailuun. Tuotteen muotoiluun hain inspiraatiota Pohjois-Savon metsistä.
Betula was my competition entry for a lighting competition organized by Innolux in 2022. For the design of the product, I sought inspiration from the forests of North Savonia.

Osallistuin keväällä 2022 ensimmäiseen muotoilukilpailuuni, missä tehtävänä oli muotoilla ulkoasu muuntamolle. Kilpailun järjesti Keravan Energia yhteistyössä Ornamon kanssa.
In the spring of 2022, I participated in my first design competition, where the task was to design the extrerior of a transformer cabin. The competition was organized by Keravan Energia together with Ornamo.

My Skill Set
Industrial Design
During my studies at Savonia UAS my main focus has been in industrial design, 3D modeling, model making and different techniques of visual representations.
Rhinoceros 3D
I’m very skilled and experienced with Rhinoceros 3D. I’ve modeled most of my projects with Rhino and I enjoy working with it. I’m constantly aiming to improve my skills.
KeyShot
I’ve been rendering my models using KeyShot since I first discovered it at Savonia a couple years ago and I’m capable of producing very professional and informative renderings with the software.
Model Making
I’ve studied model making, material technology and spent hundreds of hours at the workshop. I’ve been focusing both on traditional techniques and modern ones such as 3D printing. I love working with my hands and I’m quite good at it.
Adobe Softwares
I’ve been using Adobe’s softwares since 2021 in every school or personal project and I’ve become very fluent with Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom. I’m also familiar with InDesign and handle the basics very well. Right now I’m familiarizing myself with Adobe Animate.
Photography
Photography is a dear hobby of mine and I rarely leave the house without at least one of my favorite cameras with me. My goal is to incorporate my passion for photography into my professional work and career.
Graphic Design and Branding
I’ve also studied graphic design and branding during my studies in Kuopio. I’m currently working at Design Center at Savonia UAS, where I’ve had the opportunity to refine my skills at graphic design, branding and photography and video production. I’m constantly learning more and truly enjoy the diversity of the job.
Social Skills and Languages
I am socially gifted, brave and have great communication skills. My English is fluent in both written and spoken and I enjoy putting my language skills to the test. My Swedish is above average and I know the basics of Spanish very well.
Teamwork
I’m a skilled team player. When working as a team, every working member is an equally valuable asset to the project in hands. I always make sure everyone is heard and respected. I’m very keen on supporting a positive, friendly and safe work environment for everyone.
